The &#34;beacon on mountain&#34; variety is a recognized printing error (plate variety) found on the mountain peak.

2002 Canada Golden Jubilee 5-Cent Coin

Canada 2002 Five-Cent Coin (“P” and Golden Jubilee)
This is a 2002 Canadian 5-cent coin celebrating the Golden Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II.
The actual year of production is not stamped on the back with the beaver.
Instead, the Royal Canadian Mint moved the date to the front (obverse) side below the Queen&#39;s portrait. 
It is struck as a double date reading 1952–2002.The Mint changed the location for a very specific reason:
The Milestone: 2002 marked exactly 50 years since Queen Elizabeth II ascended the throne in 1952.The Tradition: To honor the milestone across the entire British Commonwealth, the commemorative double date was intentionally integrated into the monarch&#39;s portrait design on the front.
The Standardization: Because all Canadian denominations (nickels, dimes, quarters, etc.) had to feature this identical commemorative double date on the front, the standard production year was completely omitted from the back.
