Before we dive into the Trending Items and Highlights of August, we have exciting news to share. For the second year in a row MaxSold was listed on the Growth 500 Canada’s Fastest Growing Companies list. This is a huge honour as other companies on this list include, Shopify and Canada Goose. A huge thank-you to all of our buyers, sellers and of course our team without whom we wouldn’t be where we are today. With that, let’s see what was trending in the month of August.

At MaxSold what don’t we sell? In the month of August we saw something really cool drive up in one of our auctions! If you are retro cars collector this lot can be your dream. From a Downsizing online auction in Sharbot Lake Ontario we were able to help sell a reassembled 1916 Canadian made Model T ford! This item got a lot of attention from our bidders in both Canada and the United States.

What made this item so special was that it was reassembled by parts found in flea markets, by friends, and even by parts found on the side of the road! Still in working condition the Model T Ford sold for a over $7,500 - which is great for a post-1915 year Ford.  Also in the MaxSold Motors category, we sold this 1999 Motor home in Chilliwack, BC for over $12,000.

Home decor, nostalgic items, sterling silver, teak, area rugs and home furniture as usual popular in our auctions. Let’s take a look at what you were bidding in August!

We never cherry pick items at MaxSold and it has shown to work in everyone's favour. In Phoenix, Maryland we auctioned off a medical electronics lot for over $2000 which was a surprise as sellers would have typically taken those to the landfill.  At MaxSold - we connect unique things to buyers, and our buyers are big promoters of sustainability!
