Another Successful Charity Auction for the Limestone District School Board
We are honoured here at MaxSold to be asked to partner with the Limestone District School Board for the second time to help them raise money for the Limestone Learning Foundation through their duo MaxSold Charity auction.
Their First auction featured gifts and donations from local vendors and businesses. Some truly interesting items such as a kayak, Oakley sunglasses and even a flight for two over 1000 Islands & Kingston with MaxSold’s very own CEO/pilot!
Their second auction featured beautiful artwork made by students with the tutelage of some local artists. Some big names in the Kingston art scene with new and returning faces. Returning 2013 mentors Susanne Langlois, Beth ten Hove, Lori Richards, Su Sheedy and Suzy Lamont, who will be joined by our new mentors Kelsey Haynes, Stewart Jones, Stefan Duerst, JT Winik, Roz Bechtel, Rheni Tauchid, Mark Bergin, Taylor Simon, and Laura Donefer. Bidders got a unique opportunity to view the pieces during an open house held at the Tett Centre for Creativity and Learning where MaxSold invited the community to view art, meet artists and students. Raising almost $20,000 for the Limestone District School Board there’s a reason they chose us!
Being our second auction, Limestone District School Board were already pros at the auction process however, MaxSold supported the auction through online support, marketing and even had our local Tech Expert Colin at the Ball to help any in house bidders that may be having mobile bidding issues.
It was a great night full of music, dancing, food and most importantly great art! MaxSold was more than happy to be a part of it.
