Digimon, short for Digital Monsters, was created in 1997. They are creatures who inhabit a digital world, a parallel universe which originated from Earth’s various communication networks. The Digimon collectible card game was first introduced in Japan in 1997 and published by Bandai. This lot includes: (1) a new, opened (but NEVER played with!) Digimon Digi-Battle Card Game Starter Set. It is complete with: 62 Digimon Dig-Battle Cards including 3 holographic cards (St33, St34. St56), a Game Mat / Poster showing all 62 Starter Set cards, 2 Score Counters, and Complete Instructions; (2) a USED Starter Deck of cards which is almost complete (missing 4 cards St24, St26, St27 and St55) which also comes with a set of instructions and a game mat; (3) 52 used Booster cards (27 from Series 1 / 25 from Series 2) and 2 double-sided (Series I / Series 2) Booster Card checklists; (4) 46 Upper Deck Digimon cards – 23 from Series 1 and 23 from Series 2 plus checklist cards for each series; (5) 2 Taco Bell Digimon plastic cases from 2000 with 3 metal Digimon Cards in each; and (6) a plastic Digimon plate (shows signs of use).
