Lot #155: Vintage Danish modern MCM 3 section cabinet

Vintage Danish modern MCM 3 section cabinet Comprised of 3 sections. With hanging set of drawers, hanging sliding glass display cabinet, full doors cabinets at the bottom, and open bookshelves. Classic Danish modern design. Heavy, bring help to move it. The units has been disassembled for ease of transport and safety. The pieces consist of 2 bases, 2 drawer/cabinets, 9 shelves and 4 end pieces. The tall uprights simply screw into the base using 4 wood screws and the shelves then lock the uprights securely into place; see picture for original layout. The fastening clips that hold the shelves and drawer/glass cabinet sections are brittle, many have cracked apart. Some have been glued back together. If you want to maintain the elegance of using the clips, it shouldn’t be too hard to “remanufacture” them. For sheer ease, 3D printing could be used to make full replacements. Just make one design and print as many as you wish. Or use wood and manually make as many as you need.
