Antique Chinese Dragon Picture Frame

• The Kala Handwoven Jute Rugs are
made in India, specifically in the city of
Panipat, which is known as the &#34;City of
Weavers&#34;.
• The rug is hand woven with two of the
most durable natural fibres: hemp and
organic cotton.                                                              
• The warp is cotton, and the weft is a
mixture of cotton and hemp. The make
up is 70% Hemp and 30% Cotton.
• Jute or Hemp is native to the Indian
subcontinent and is known for its
durability and versatility.
• These traditional weaving techniques
create intricate patterns and designs. I
noted that no two patterns repeated in
colour, design, or style, so each rug is

• This is a vintage medium sized
Jardiniere from China that was made
between the 1970&#39;s and the 1980&#39;s.
• It was mold cast, and black stencil lines
were fired onto the clear glaze. The
coloured enamel was applied by hand,
so there are slight differences in how
much colour was added.
• The pattern repeats twice, and there are
25 different flowers or combinations of
colours on each side.

Vintage Chinese Ceramic Floral Jardiniere

• This piece is essentially a Chinese
gaiwan or a Japanese shiboridashi form
with a strainer for the tea leaves in the
centre.
• After &#34;much discussion&#34; on the various
discussion sites, it was concluded this
piece was most likely made in Canada,
but incorporates both Japanese and
Chinese styles. Her&#39;s a quote, &#34;Actually
less similar to the 4 1) H Ushiboridashi
you reference and more like a ##5 höhin
or a *& chaho).&#34;
• There is a chop mark on the bottom,
but I have not found out the potter&#39;s
name.
• All 3 pieces are hand thrown. white
stoneware or porcelain, cone 10 gas
fired. The centre bowl has a lotus leaf
design done in a grey underglaze as
does the cups.
• The larger of the bowls has the place to
put the tea with the holes.
