• First is the "Laughing Child", possibly a "He He Er Xian" figure, symbolizing harmony and happiness. • Second is the "Drummer Boy", representing daily life, and markets. • Both feature traditional Chinese clothing with a pink or blue background and floral designs. Each child holds an object symbolizing wisdom or education. • These figurines likely originate from the Jingdezhen porcelain factories. • They have impressed the number 28 incised on the base. • Figures date between 1920 and 1940. • In excellent condition, no breaks, cracks, but one small chip on Drummer.
