Obverse shows a portrait of President Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, with Turkish legend “Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, One Hundred thousand Turkish Lira, Issued according to the law number 1211 of 14 January 1970”). Reverse shows a group of young students giving flowers to Kemal Atatürk, with legend “TÜRKİYE CUMHURİYET MERKEZ BANKASI ON TÜRK LİRASI”. (“Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, Ten Turkish Lira”). Notes of this type were issued from 1996 to 1999.
