She is a fairly well-known artist, writer, and poet. In fact, the famous song by Steely Dan – ‘Rikki don’t lose that number’ – was written about/inspired by her. In terms of provenance, Rikki’s father was Gerard DeGré, who taught philosophy at the University of Waterloo for a time.
