Numerous tears to top 7&#34; of map - see top of map verso image. Tears have have been backed with very fine PH neutral reversible document repair tape. There are a few small areas of loss visible from the front in this area - please see along the top of the front and verso photos. This map is ready to display as it sits, but should be framed or the verso overlayed with another layer of linen or canvas due to it&#39;s age. 

Paper/linen measures approx. 62 1/2&#34; wide x 51&#34; tall. Wooden ends appear original to the item.

Jackson was a pioneer in using mammoth-sized cameras (up to 20 x 24 inches) to create large-format glass plate negatives of the North American landscape. He documented sites such as Yellowstone National Park, the American Southwest, and areas along various railroad lines in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

This group of mammoth plate negatives and photographs from the Detroit Publishing Company includes over 600 glass negatives and transparencies and more than 300 photographic prints. The images are a rich source of documentation for the study of the North American landscape and include photographs taken by William Henry Jackson along several railroad lines in the United States and Mexico in the 1880s and 1890s; views of Western states, including images of California and of Hopi people with their crafts; Jackson&#39;s photographs commissioned by the state of Wyoming in 1892 for display at the World&#39;s Columbian Exposition.&#34;

Vintage mid 1930&#39;s CCM CLEVELAND Men&#39;s 3 Speed Motorcycle Model Bicycle with Electric Lighting. Nearly 100 years old. Crankset, chain and wheels turn freely. Has a double top tube matching the frames of motorbikes of the day. Motorbike style pan saddle. Has Sturmey Archer 3 speed rear hub with internal drum brake. Lighting works. Has deluxe bottom bracket with removable crank arms. Has Gibson pedals. This bicycle was ridden regularly. This can be ridden but has a worn left crank arm. Has an early brazed frame repair on the down tube - see photo. This has been ridden hundreds if not thousands of of miles with this very old brazed repair without trouble. For display as shown or refurbishment. This is a heavy duty bicycle.
