AITCHISON'S TELESCOPES "One of finest examples of modern land and sea. Tourists and Sportsmen in every country will find it most serviceable, and being very light in weight it makes but little addition to one's outfit. It is particularly recommended for Deer Stalking. The metal parts are of hard German Silver, bronzed black, which is exceptionally strong and rigid. It is covered with sewn black morocco leather or brown hide. The optical part consists of a First-Class Object Glass 2 inches in diameter, erecting lenses and Pancratic eyepiece giving Magnifications of 25, 30, 35 and 40 Diameters, either of which can be brought into use by sliding in or out the eyepiece to the power required. The definition and illumination are of a very high standard, affording great brilliancy of the image even under adverse atmospheric conditions. The field of view with x 25 Magnification is nearly 2 degrees, equivalent to 35 yards lateral field of view at a distance of 1,000 yards. With the higher magnifications the field of view is somewhat less. It is supplied in a solid leather case (black or brown) with shoulder straps.
