Lot #336: Vintage Fabric U.S. Navy Military Patches

A total of three: The first is a vintage patch for the U.S. Navy's Task Force 77. Task Force 77 was the aircraft carrier battle and strike force of the U.S. Navy's Seventh Fleet. The patch references the USS Constellation (CVA-64), a Kitty Hawk-class aircraft carrier that served in the Vietnam War. Next is a patch for the VF-102 "Roadrunners," a former U.S. Navy fighter squadron.The "Roadrunners" nickname was adopted in 1949 and is likely connected to a popular movie cartoon of the time. The patch is an original, Japanese-made patch from the Vietnam War era. Last is a patch for the U.S. Navy Attack Squadron VA-144, nicknamed the "Roadrunners". The squadron was disestablished on January 29, 1971. All in good, vintage condition. They measure 5” to 6” tall. Bring packing material. Pickup category timeslot {A}
