Adams Ltd Assay Office: Birmingham, England Date Letter: “p” (1914) Material: Solid sterling silver (.925), hallmarked Description: Fine early 20th century English sterling silver hand mirror featuring a beautifully raised (repoussé) rose surrounded by leaves and ribbon detail. The face is framed with an elegant bow-and-garland border, and the design is protected under British Registered Design No. 574795. The mirror is clearly hallmarked with: • Maker’s mark F.H.A.L (F.H. Adams Ltd) • Birmingham anchor • Lion passant for sterling silver (.925) • Date letter “p” for 1914 Condition: Overall very good antique condition with age-appropriate surface wear and a few light dings in the plain background, consistent with use.
