The Universal bread maker was a brand of bread-making machine manufactured by Landers, Frary & Clark, a company based in New Britain, Connecticut, around the late 1890s and early 20th century. These early &#34;machines&#34; were designed to mix and knead dough and were advertised as capable of preparing dough in minutes.  This particular item has been re-tinned in recent years. Makes up to 8 loaves.
