2 restored vintage kerosene lanterns. The lantern on the right is a Beacon lantern, also known as a hurricane lamp or oil lantern “GSW quality”.
Beacon lanterns were produced by the Sheet Metal Products Co. (SMP) of Toronto, Ontario, starting in 1911. 
They were known for being &#34;windproof&#34; and were used for lighting in rural areas. 
The lantern on the left is from Rochester NY, made in USA. “No. 2 Cold Blast”
