Offered are a pair of occasional chairs that were custom made. They feature wooden frames with black leather look (am not sure if it&#39;s real or &#39;vegan&#39; leather) backs and seats. These chairs have great spiral arms and are very attractive and comfortable. In very good condition. There are some small marks/ scratches on the seats but these are visible only on close looking. Perfect for a front hall, guest bedroom, office  or as often needed extra dining chairs.

This studio pottery vase is exquisite! No condition issues at all. Beautiful glazing with 3 dragon heads extending out from the far outside of the form. Artist signed underglaze on base along with &#39;90&#39; which I presume is the year of production. Outside edges include raised meandering forms, reminiscent of Oriental motifs and dragon shapes. Square shaped faience vase by artist Johanne Gerber for Royal Copenhagen Denmark. Circa 1960&#39;s. Marked &#39;Royal Copenhagen Denmark. Fajance 710/3455. Design has very organic shapes in shades of light and dark brown, war white and beige. A classic of MCM ceramics. very collectible. Johanne Gerber was an artist with Royal Copenhagen&#39;s faience and stoneware department under the legendary Nils Thorsson. Vintage 60&#39;s Stylised Square Faience Vase by Johanne Gerber for Royal Copenhagen Denmark

Bodum salt and pepper spherical mills with cast iron grinder mechanisms. Mills were designed by Richard Nissen and Carsten Jorgensen designed the stand. Circa 1970&#39;s. Complete with wooden stand with steel handle. Richard Nissen was born in 1928 and took over Nissens Trævarefabrik in 1952. With his countless designs, Richard Nissen is considered one of the most influential designers of Danish modernism. The traditional company Nissens Trævarefabrik was acquired by Bodum in 1990, but continued to produce Nissen&#39;s designs.

Mills are made of light beechwood.   They  are Danish Modern design classics!

This classic Dansk &#39;Flamestone&#39; coffee pot is highly collectible. One person is selling theirs online for 700! This one is in excellent condition with no signs of age or use despite dating to the 1970&#39;s. Dansk early 4 ducks mark on the base. Measures 13.5&#34; / 34.5 cm tall. Dansk Flamestone is a discontinued line of Danish-modern stoneware dinnerware and cookware, designed by Jens Quistgaard for Dansk Designs. The line is characterized by its matte brown or black fluted exterior and smooth, often white or blue-glazed interior.

Tall Vintage MCM Dansk &#39;Flamestone&#39; Series Chocolate Brown Coffee Pot

A two item lot including one vintage figural meerschaum pipe in leather case and a lovely turned wood round <span class"bg-warning nswreasons" id"rid-26">tob</span>box. The pipe has been used, showing some browning around the rim of the bowl but is otherwise fine. No chips, cracks or breaks in the meerschaum. Pipe is 9.5"/ 24 cm long. The <span class"bg-warning nswreasons" id"rid-26">tobacco</span> box, made of several different types of wood is 4"/ 10 cm tall and has a diameter of 6"/ 15 cm. The lid fits properly.

Inuit Indigenous Felt Art Wall Hanging

This Tunisian red wool woven Bakhnoug shawl is stunning. Purchased at auction from the estate of the late John Wertime, a world renown expert and author of many books on Middle Eastern textiles. (proof to be provided).
Measures 78&#34; x 38.5&#34; / 198 x 98 cm.

The bakhnoug is a finely woven shawl from the mountainous regions of Tunisia or Libya, home of the Berbers. They are rarely available on the open market as they are generally considered family heirlooms. This example is in fine condition. 

Traditionally woven by rural women on a vertical loom using wool for the main fabric and undyed white cotton thread for the intricate motifs. The weaving process can take years to complete. Worn as apparel during important life events, especially as a wedding shawl or veil.

The bakhnoug features geometric and abstract patterns that act as a form of non-verbal communication, expressing an encyclopedia of feelings, ideas, and moral maxims from the weaver&#39;s female perspective.

The colour of the bakhnoug indicates the wearer&#39;s age and social status.
White is for very young girls.
Red -as here- (often cochineal-dyed) is for young, newly married women or brides.
Black or indigo blue is for older women.

For textile collectors, this is truly a special item.

Normand Hudon (1929-1997) was a very popular Quebecois artist. Born in Montreal in 1929, Normand Hudon studied at the École des Beaux-Arts before training in Paris under Fernand Léger, where he also met Picasso. Returning to Quebec, he gained renown as a caricaturist for Le Devoir and La Presse, later contributing to Expo 67 and founding Le Point magazine. This numbered  (314/480) lithograph print has no condition issues and is beautifully framed in a wood frame. Frame measures 32&#34; x 30&#34;. Image alone is 20&#34; x 17.5&#34;. Highly collectible. Last sold at auction for 600 CAD.

A fine 4 item lot of studio pottery stoneware. All pieces are in pristine, unblemished condition. Includes 2 creamer sized small jugs by renown BC ceramicist Robin Hopper (5&#34;/ 3.75&#34;), a rectangular platter by Galleon Ware (11&#34; x 8&#34;) and a covered casserole by Jay Cryderman, a well known Penticton potter. (7&#34; x 3.5&#34;)
Robin Hopper (1939-2017)was an internationally known potter, teacher, author, garden designer and arts activist. He taught throughout Canada, and in England, U.S.A., Australia, New Zealand, China, Korea, Japan and Israel. His ceramic work is in public, corporate and private collections throughout the world. His studo was in Metchosin on Van. Island.
Galleon Ware  was a Canadian pottery company that operated in New Brunswick between the 1960s and 1970s.
Jay Cryderman (1910-1995)  used daisies and mid century motifs, was admired for his craftsmanship and attention to detail. His work continues to be popular in vintage sales.
