The Pop Shoppe was founded in 1969 by Gary Shaw in London, Ontario, as a brick-and-mortar, franchised retailer of soft drinks. It grew to 1,000+ stores across Canada and the US, using a low-price, value-based strategy and marketing with figures like Eddie Shack.
