Lot #79: Two ORIGINAL Psychedelic Rock Concert Posters from the Fillmore Era: Electric Flags, The Fugs, 13th Floor Elevator, Iron Butterfly, James Cotton Blues

Here is a lot of two vintage and original psychedelic rock concert posters from the Fillmore Era. Here is what you get: FD-104-OP-1--"The Finger Poster." Number 104 in the Family Dog series (poster is approximately 14" x 20") from a concert performed by Electric Flag, Mad River, The Fugs, and 13th Floor Elevator held in the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco on 2/2-4/1968. The poster was created by famed rock poster artist (and one of the "Big Five" rock poster artists) Victor Moscoso (b. 1936). This is an original FIRST PRINT poster (according to the guidelines of Eric King's famous reference book) and is in very fine condition (has a very slight curl to it from being rolled at one point in time but I have been storing it flat for years). BG-157-OP-1--[Untitled]. Number 157 in the Bill Graham series (poster is approximately 14" x 21") from a concert performed by Iron Butterfly, James Cotton Blues Band, and A. B. Skhy held at The Fillmore West in San Francisco on 1/23-25/1969. The poster was created by famed rock poster artist, Lee Conklin (b. 1941), who claimed all of his sixties rock posters were painted while on acid (and who would doubt him?). This is an original FIRST PRINT poster (according to the guidelines of Eric King's famous reference book) and is in NEAR MINT condition. These posters have been stored flat for decades and are in very nice condition. They would frame up beautifully. They are getting hard to find in this condition. Located upstairs.
