Lot #185: Fine Bohemian Glass Collectibles

This lot includes, An antique Bohemian art nouveau Creta Glatt iridescent green glass basket. A striking example crafted by Loetz in Czechoslovakia in the late 1890s to early 1900s, this spectacular example is wonderfully iridescent in the Creta Glatt green color. It has an applied glass handle with rosettes. The basket stands 12 1/2 inches to the top of the handle, 8 inches long, and 5 1/2 inches at its widest point. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. A ruby red footed, cut to clear crystal centerpiece bowl. This striking centerpiece bowl has wheel cut designs which catch and reflect the light. The three scrolled feet give the bowl an added degree of elegance. The bowl measures 9 inches in diameter and stands 4 inches tall. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or scratches. A hand painted glass Lighthouse Samovar with 5 Shot Glasses. This unique and unusual shot dispenser is similar to a samovar but much smaller. The dispenser is marked "Made in Czechoslovakia" and has a hand painted depiction of a woman fishing by the sea and numerous sailboats and seagulls on the water. The dispenser has a functional tap and includes 5 matching shot glasses which are placed in a holder around the dispenser. There is a 6th shot glass, but it is chipped. Both the dispenser and the shot glasses have a satin finish. The dispenser stands 10 inches tall. The shot glasses measure 2 1/4 inches tall. None of the items other than the shot glass (which can be repaired) are in excellent condition with no chips cracks, or other damage.
