Lot #82: Vintage brass collectibles

Vintage and antique brass collectibles, likely from the late 19th or early 20th century. Here are the identified items: Opera Glasses/Binoculars: There are two pairs of binoculars . These appear to be antique brass opera glasses or theatre binoculars, (one of them has missing glass) a popular accessory in the Victorian era. They were used to get a better view of stage performances. Horse Brass Medallion: The circular item at the bottom center is a horse brass medallion featuring a crown design within a laurel wreath. These were historically used as decorative or protective talismans on horse harness gear, becoming very popular in England from the mid-19th century onwards. Miniature Candlestick Holder: The small, single-stick holder on the right is a petite brass candlestick holder, also known as a chamberstick. These compact items were used for travel or carrying a light from room to room before widespread electric lighting. Small Vase/Crumb Tray Mortar: The small, greenish patinated item and the larger, flat, lidded container in the back appear to be general vintage brass decorative items, possibly a small vase or parts of a crumb tray or mortar set, commonly found in general lots of vintage brass decor.
