Bidding starts in 0d 0h 19m

Antique copper engraving depicting Utrecht City Hall (Hotel de Ville), The Netherlands, showing the building as it appeared in the early 19th century. The engraving is after a drawing by Cornelis Pronk (1691–1759), a renowned Dutch draughtsman known for his highly accurate topographical views, and was engraved by Caspar Philips Jacobszoon. This view corresponds to prints published circa 1825, including examples credited to Sturm & Cloet, publishers of documented Dutch city views. Rendered with fine engraved line work, the scene captures civic architecture, canal bridge, and surrounding townhouses, characteristic of Pronk’s influential cityscapes, which were widely engraved and collected. Presented framed with layered matting, ready to hang. Dimensions: 16"W, 1"D, 14"H Pickup category timeslot {A}
