Pair of vintage tin pop-pop boats, also known as flash-steamers or candle-powered toy boats. These classic novelty boats operate using a simple steam propulsion system with no moving parts and are powered by small fuel candles.

When heated, water inside the metal boiler creates steam pressure that expels water through the exhaust tubes, producing the characteristic “pop-pop” sound and propelling the boat forward.
