This lot features a vintage Canadian commemorative medallion celebrating early Canadian history and Confederation themes. One side depicts Samuel de Champlain, identified as “Père de la Nouvelle-France”, while the reverse displays multiple provincial coats of arms with the word CANADA and a commemoration inscription.

The medallion appears to date to the early 20th century, likely issued in connection with historic Canadian anniversaries such as the 300th anniversary of Quebec (1608–1908). A small hole at the top suggests it was later adapted for wear as a pendant.
