The stand has decorative floral or figural carvings near the base. 

Similar items date back to the 1930s-1950s.

Bradley Doll Table Lamp.  The doll has a Victorian / Southern Belle style red dress covered in black lace with ruffled edges. The umbrella shaped lampshade has cut-out floral edging around the top and the bonnet is embellished with roses. The doll has smooth ringlet hair and is adorned with a faux pearl necklace and deep red ribbon accents. The lamp works with an on/off switch located under the shade. From base to tip this lamp is 26” tall and 19” wide from each edge of the dress.
