Cedar (Waxwing) Plate

Richly illustrated volume, detailing the works that Munch left to the City of Oslo upon his death. Contains both black and white and colour images, all of which appear to be intact. Dust cover has some wear, but it has done its job of protecting the hardcover which is still a lovely blue. Front cover does have a bit of a dent at the bottom, likely from having been dropped or set down heavily on a book shelft, but it is minor. Binding is still tight. Pages have yellowed slightly. Pub 1964

Aesop&#39;s Fables (1963): A nice copy in good shape. Pages have yellowed somewhat but there are no marks or tears. Inscription from father to daughter on an inside page - the advice given is still sound today!

Andersen&#39;s Fairy Tales (1926): dust jacket has seen better days, but book is still in good shape with some yellowing.

Franklin First Editions Society version of Graham Greene&#39;s spy novel that was later turned into a film. Bound in dark green leather, with green moire taffeta end papers and green ribbon for marking your place as you read. It doesn&#39;t show well in the photo, but the pages are edged in a gold colour. Binding is tight, as though the book hasn&#39;t been opened. Green satin moire end papers.

Mary Poppins by P.L. Travers (1962): A wonderful copy of this favorite children&#39;s story. Dust cover has some small tears. Hard cover is in excellent condition. Dedications (for your 5th birthday from Mommy & Daddy) on inside page, along with original price, written in pencil. No marks or tears on pages. Front cover may be a little bit warped - book seems to open a bit on its own. But really, given it&#39;s age, it&#39;s in pretty good shape.

Book: Antique Furniture of Quebec by Michel Lessard (2002)

According to Wikipedia: Eight Cousins was originally published in 1875 by American novelist Louisa May Alcott and is part of the Little Women Series. It is the story of Rose Campbell, who has been recently orphaned and resides with her maiden great aunts, the matriarchs of her wealthy family near Boston,[3] until her guardian, Uncle Alec, returns from abroad to take over her care. Through his unorthodox theories about child-rearing, she becomes happier and healthier while finding her place in her family of seven boy cousins and numerous aunts and uncles. This copy was published c.1948 and has the original owner&#39;s name inside. The pages have browned somewhat from age.

Vintage Books by Samuel Clemens: Adventures of Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn

First introduced in the late 1950s, here&#39;s what I learned about the Brownie Starlet Camera from Jim Grey&#39;s blog (Down the Road): The simplest of all Star cameras, the Starlet features an acrylic, single-element Dakon lens of f/8 or maybe f/11, set in a rotary shutter that fires at probably 1/50 sec. A switch at the bottom of the front plate changes the aperture between “color” (EV 13, wide open) and “B&W” (EV 14, one stop less of exposure). The prominent central viewfinder and the aluminum top plate gives this camera “that TLR look,” but it’s a viewfinder camera all the way. For flash photographs, a screw-and-pin connector on the side connects to all manner of Kodak flash units.approx.
This camera would make a great addition to your camera collection! These cameras also look great styled on a bookshelf. Not guaranteed to be working.

His works can be found throughout Canada and the United States. He currently resides in Oshawa, Ontario. Artist&#39;s signature appears on lower right of image area. Image illustrates very well the venacular architecture of the Gatineau. Frame is in good condition.

Figgjo Flint is a well known porcelain company name treasured by many people, not only Norwegians. This Lotte pattern is also well known and popular among collectors. It was designed by Turi in the 1960s. Both salt and pepper shakers are approx. 3&#34; in height and approx. 1.5&#34; diameter on the base. Both have stoppers. This set is in excellent used condition.
