Born in Montreal, she completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of Quebec at Montreal in 1981. She specializes primarily in printmaking. She has continued her research by participating in workshops and courses in Japanese engraving, carborundum, photogravure, collagraphy, and bookbinding. Her work has been featured in more than 260 exhibitions, biennials and triennials in Canada, the United States, Argentina, Japan, France, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, Slovakia, Poland, Sweden, Macedonia, Norway, Monaco and Australia. This piece is signed and dated either 1987 or 1989. It is titled Ondoyant II and his number 24/25. Ondoyant is a French adjective meaning waving, undulating, or rippling, used to describe movement The image itself is small only measuring approximately 4 x 3 inches. The paper that it’s printed on measures approximately 9 x 6 1/2 inches. The piece is double matted and with the frame it measures 14 1/4 x 16 3/4 inches.
