The first is a Weidlich Brothers Art Deco peacock bookend. It dates to the early 20th century, likely the 1930s. It’s made of heavy cast iron with a bronze-like finish. The design features a peacock in a classical setting flanked by columns. Marked with the number &#34;641&#34; and the maker&#39;s mark &#34;W.B.&#34; on the back. The second is a polished specimen of carnelian or petrified wood. Carnelian is a reddish-orange variety of chalcedony, a microcrystalline quartz. Both are in good condition and measure about 5-1/2” tall.  Bring packing material.
