This lot comprises a coordinated English tea and coffee service consisting of five pieces, sharing a consistent fluted design and black wooden handles, but not all of the same metal or date, as confirmed by hallmarks and inventory list in photos. Sterling Silver (3 Pieces): The three larger vessels are solid sterling silver, each fully hallmarked and dating to the Georgian period: • Teapot • Coffee pot • Hot water jug Hallmarks observed include: • Lion passant (sterling silver standard) • Birmingham assay office • Maker’s mark “T.B.” • Stamped “Made in England” These pieces feature fluted bodies with pedestal bases and black wooden handles and finials, typical of early 19th-century English silver hollowware. Silver Plate (2 Pieces): The two smaller matching front pieces: • Cream jug • Sugar bowl These share the same fluted design and form but are silver plated, with plating wear visible to the interiors, consistent with age and use. Notes: • This is a mixed-metal lot (sterling silver and silver plate). • All pieces visually match in style and were clearly intended as a service, despite differing materials and dates. • Please review all photos, including hallmarks, an inventory sheet in photos. ??? So which piece is the Hestor Bateman item? This is crucial as it is the one very valuable piece. In the pic it is marked HB, London with datemark s (1793). The written inventory makes no sense.

If you could find the hallmarks on the other sterling pieces, it would be of great value. The one piece is by Hestor Bateman (HB); not JB. She is a famous silversmith. Thanks.

It would be REALLY helpful to know what the sterling silver hallmarks are on the two other pieces. You have shown the hallmark on one piece; which is it? Is it the hot water jug? Thanks.

Thank you for the measurements but what about the two different teapots shown - the one in the first picture of the five pieces is different than the one shown in your later pictures - please explain.

Teapot shown with all five pieces is not the same one shown in the later pictures - please explain. What is the height of the coffee pot - based on the size of the persons hand are these miniatures?

Please verify that the hallmarks on the three sterling pieces are all identical - pictures would be appreciated. Thank you for your help with this.
