After studying architecture at the University of Guadalajara, he pivoted to fine art, debuting in 1966 and establishing his influential workshop in Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, in 1975.

Porcupine quill work is the ultimate example of true Aboriginal craftsmanship, and has become rare to find today. The natural resources needed to create a porcupine quill box are birch bark, quills, sweetgrass and traditional knowledge. There are 2 areas with broken quill, but it is very common for these boxes as they are light and fragile.

There is a rectangular planter in the back that allows you to put in whatever plants or foliage you desire. Or, just show him off plain, and flower free!

Fiesta is a line of ceramic glazed dinnerware manufactured and marketed by the Fiesta Tableware Company of Newell, West Virginia, United States since its introduction in 1936, with a hiatus from 1973 to 1985. Fiesta is noted for its Art Deco styling and its range of often bold, solid colors. Very popular with collectors! Plate has some utensil scratches. Jug is excellent, no chips or cracks!
