Lot #253: Vintage Peavey “Pacer” Guitar Amplifier

This is a vintage Peavey Pacer guitar combo amplifier, likely dating from the mid-to-late 1970s or early 1980s. This model is well-regarded for its solid-state reliability and classic "silver stripe" aesthetic. The amp is housed in a rugged black Tolex-covered cabinet with metal corner protectors. It features the iconic "pointy" Peavey logo in the center of the black speaker grille, flanked by two vertical silver aluminum strips. The amplifier appears to be in original, used condition. There is visible dust and some light oxidation/rust on the metal corner pieces and the handle hardware, which is typical for a piece of gear of this age. The grille cloth and Tolex look largely intact, suggesting it has been kept in a relatively stable environment. Measures 20” x 10” x 21”. Plugged in and lights up, otherwise untested.
