Nova Scotia Guides Tournament Association Canoe Championship perpetual trophy shield. It includes a central shield with a canoeist motif and numerous small plaques engraved with the names of past winners and the years they won. Winners listed range from the 1930s to the 1950s. The Department of Lands and Forests was a provincial government department responsible for managing Crown lands and forest conservation from 1926 until 1991 when it merged to form the Department of Natural Resources.
