Tony's artistic interests developed early. He received formal training at Jean Turner Art School in San Francisco, from various artists in the Bay area and was inspired by years of his international and domestic travels. As an author and illustrator he was first published in the San Jose Mercury News at age fifteen. His books include "Rambling through Baja California with Pen and Brush," "Tony's Guide to Better Painting," Santa Clara Valley, an Atrist's View," "The Saints of California Landscape," and "How I found Peace, Joy and Happiness in a World of Insanity." His paintings have appeared in numerous museums and private collections throughout the world including, San Jose, Lake Tahoe, Colorado Springs, Australia, Mexico, and Italy. He was the proud owner of his own "Mini Art Gallary" in san Jose California for a number of years. One of his most precious works was his mural of the Resurrection at Holy Cross Catholic Church in San Jose California. Tony was a member of many organizations throughout his life, including The Third Order of Saint Francis, Knights of Columbus, Cupertino Fine Arts League, San Jose Art League, Saint Michael's Fraternity at Mission San Miguel. He honored his vows as a Lay Order Franciscan for 55 years. He won the "people's Choice Award 13th Edition of who's Who in California." He worked for over 20 years at Nasa/Ames Research Center in Moffett Field, California. He proudly served his country in World War II in the Army Medical Core.
