13 Envelopes with the 4-cent U.S. postage stamp which commemorates the first orbital spaceflight by an American astronaut, John Glenn, in the friendship 7 capsule on February 20, 1962. The postmark is from Cape Canaveral, Florida. The stamp was issued under tight security and only put on sale in post offices shortly after the mission was declared a success.
