This is a giclee print of The Canoe (1912) by Tom Thomson.  Tom Thomson (1877 - 1917) is considered one of the most important and infuential Canadian artists.  He painted from an intense inner necessity and a love of the Ontario north.  He was close to members of the Group of Seven and had a profound influence on their work, however Tom Thomson died before the group’s official 1920 formation.
