Lot #77: 19th c Flemish Renaissance Buffet

19th century Flemish Renaissance cabinet. Solid oak, around 1860s likely. Low Countries revival architecture movement. Relief carvings of lion’s heads. Decorative and detailed metal accents. A very special piece that travelled from my great grand father’s attic in Amsterdam to Canada via my dad. This piece sat in my family home. Over the years it became more fragile. My father planned to restore it before his death and now my mother isn’t able to fulfill that for him. All wood pieces that have come off are accounted for and ready to put back on.
