Set of four vintage Pimpernel placemats featuring classic Clipper Ship nautical scenes, including Meridian, Cutty Sark, White Star, and Istamboul. Made in England by Pimpernel (Celluware Limited). Traditional hardboard construction with cork backing. • Deep navy border with gold trim • Heat resistant (per manufacturer) • Cork backs intact • Original box included Condition: Gently used. Some light surface wear and minor rubbing to gold edging consistent with age. Two mats show small areas of image wear where the surface has rubbed through, revealing lighter spots. Cork backs intact.
