Beautiful, Swiss Omega pocket watch, in gold-filled case engraved "To M.S. INSTR. J.A. WILSON from the N.C.O. CLASS. R.G. 1917" "M.S. INSTR." — Musketry Instructor, a formal designation for firearms training instructors in the Canadian army during WWI. "J.A. WILSON" — the recipient of the watch. "N.C.O. CLASS" — Refers to the Non-Commissioned Officer training class he taught. "R.G." — likely: Royal Garrison (Artillery or similar), or Rifle Guards / Rifle Group - possibly: Royal Guernsey, Regina Rifles, etc. - a regimental reference, most likely within the Commonwealth forces. The watch is not keeping time, sometimes the main spring moves, and the sub-second dial advances. Needs a crystal, and a complete service. Additionally, another interesting dial watch is included.
