Lot #68: Vintage Mid Century Carrom Game Board

This is a a vintage Carrom game board, an iconic tabletop game that blends elements of billiards and air hockey. The board is made of a square wooden frame with rounded corners and a smooth playing surface. A collection of small wooden rings (resembling donuts) in red and natural wood tones are typically flicked or struck across the board. Long, thin wooden sticks are used to strike the pieces, similar to pool cues. While many modern versions of Carrom use fingers to flick a "striker," many vintage North American versions (like Carrom-Archarena) were designed to be played with these miniature cues. This is a two-sided board for different games. Note: one of the cues is split at the playing end. Measures 28-3/4” square. Overall in good, preowned condition. Bring packing material.
