This vintage Tibetan "Gau" prayer box pendant is crafted from .800 silver and features intricate traditional wirework and filigree detailing. The front of the shrine-like container is centered with a vibrant red stone cabochon—often used to represent coral, a stone synonymous with life force and protection in Himalayan culture. These sacred boxes are traditionally used as portable shrines to carry blessed mantras, prayers, or small religious relics close to the heart. The reverse often features a friction-fit or hinged back allowing the wearer to place personal intentions or sacred items inside. Pickup category timeslot {A}
