It is characterized by a trumpet-shaped neck and a heavily speckled, moss-green and dark charcoal finish The globular bottle-shaped ceramic bud vase from the Hida Takayama region of Japan features a distinctive crackle glaze surface accented by a rich brown iron glaze that gracefully drips from the rim. The lower portion is beautifully decorated with hand-painted green leaves, delicate white blossoms, and subtle red detailing, showcasing the refined artistry of Shibukusa ceramics. Signed at the bottom. Hand-carved from natural green stone, the vase features a minimalist torpedo-shaped vessel with a polished finish that showcases dark green mottled textures and natural stone veining.
