The left print features a reclining figure surrounded by large floral motifs. The right print depicts two standing figures, possibly courtesans, engaged in conversation. Left Print: Uchiwa-e (Fan Print Design) Print Title: Eight Selected Flowers in a Garden: Peony Artist: Utagawa Kuniyoshi (1797–1861), one of the last great masters of the Edo period. Subject: Features an elaborately styled courtesan or oiran wearing a rich, dark floral kimono against a backdrop of a large white peony flower. Seals: The right margin features distinct publisher cartouches and censorship seals typical of the mid-19th century. Publisher: Ibaya Senzaburo, Collection of the Riccar Museum of Art (Ginza, Tokyo) Size: 22.7 x 29.5 cm Right Print: Modern Geisha Customs and Talks Print Title: Two Geisha Beauties Artist: Isoda Koryusai (1735–1790) Series: From his highly acclaimed 1770s series titled Models for Fashion: New Designs as Fresh as Young Leaves (Hinagata wakana hatsu moyo). Subject: This vertical ōban print depicts two elegantly tall geishas, or high-ranking courtesans, walking side by side, showcasing intricate textile patterns characteristic of the mid-Edo period. Signature: The artist's signature appears in the lower-right area as 湖龍齋圖 (Koryūsai zu / Painted by Koryūsai). Publisher: Unknown.
