Antique Elgin Railroad Grade pocket watch, circa 1910. The dial has white enamel with a rare 24-hour display, featuring both standard 12-hour Arabic numerals and an inner ring of 24-hour markers. Features a lever-set movement, meaning the time is adjusted by pulling out a small lever under the bezel and turning the crown, a mechanism designed to prevent accidental time changes. These watches were precision-engineered for railroad engineers and conductors to ensure exact timekeeping. Sold in good working condition.
