Artwork Identification Subject: The artwork features the Helpoort in Maastricht, the oldest city gate in the Netherlands. The handwritten title on the lower left of the etching reads "de helpoort Manen" or similar, referencing this historic location. Technique: It is a traditional etching, indicated by the fine line work and the notation "- eigen druk -" (own print) in the center, which means the artist printed it themselves.
