Lot #15: United Ceramics Art Deco Shell Vase

Starting bidding

$1.00

Time Remaining:

Bidding starts in 0d 1h 40m

A black glazed ceramic vase shaped like a conch shell with Art Deco influence. United Ceramics operated out of Glendale, Arizona, and was a prominent producer of art pottery during the mid-20th century. Their work is characterized by the use of vibrant glazes and stylized, geometric forms typical of the late Art Deco and early Mid-Century Modern movements. This shell motif was a popular theme for floral arrangements and mantel displays in American homes during the post-war era. 1945-1955 The vase appears to be in good condition with a high-gloss finish. There are no visible chips or cracks. The presence of artificial flowers does not contribute to the value. Dimensions: 6x9 Pickup category timeslot {A}
