Produced by the Meito China company in Japan, this pattern gained popularity in the early 20th century. Meito was founded as Nagoya Seito Sho in 1908 and became renowned for producing high-quality porcelain that rivaled Noritake, often featuring intricate hand-painted floral motifs and gilded accents tailored for the Western export market. 1920-1940 The piece appears to be in good vintage condition with minor wear to the gold gilding on the handles and rim, consistent with age and use.
