Virgil Abloh (died Nov. 28, 2021) was a trained architect, fashion designer and became the Artistic Director of Louis Vuitton&#39;s menswear collection beginning in 2018. He was given access to Alessi&#39;s full catalog and decided to collaborate on the best selling Michael Graves Design 9093 Whistling Bird Kettle. According to Alessi, the original 9093 kettle was &#34;born out of Michael Graves&#39; desire to bring &#39;design made in the USA&#39; to life, the 9093 kettle has spanned four decades with the force of its decidedly pop language.&#34;

The 3909 kettle mixes different cultural aspects: the phenomenon of basketball and its multicultural imagery, an integral part of Abloh&#39;s personal history, with the world of design and its codified references. The whistle is completely redesigned, taking the form of a basketball player who crushes with power to the basket, while the colours of the handle and the knob are lit with an intense purple.

Frantic Farms is a clay and glass gallery in Warkworth, Ontario. The estates owner was a potter in the Durham Potters&#39; Guild alongside the co-owner of Frantic Farms - Monica Johnston and purchased this piece made by the glassblower at the studio, Paulus Tijang.

From their Website about Paulus Tijang:
&#34;I have blown glass for over thirty years. My education and indoctrination into the work of my life began at The Ontario College of Art, when there was still a glass studio there. It had fewer letters in the acronym of its name, circa 1984. After graduating, I traveled to places where glass was important. One such place was Pilchuck Glass School, founded by Dale Chihuly, where I met and worked with renowned glass artists. Most influential were Lino Tagliapetra, and Benjamin Moore. It was there that I discovered Venetian style glass work.&#34;

The temple is nicknamed after its reliquary, the Golden Pavilion, whose top two floors are coated in 0.5 um gold leaf.
