Virgil Abloh (died Nov. 28, 2021) was a trained architect, fashion designer and became the Artistic Director of Louis Vuitton&#39;s menswear collection beginning in 2018. He was given access to Alessi&#39;s full catalog and decided to collaborate on the best selling Michael Graves Design 9093 Whistling Bird Kettle. According to Alessi, the original 9093 kettle was &#34;born out of Michael Graves&#39; desire to bring &#39;design made in the USA&#39; to life, the 9093 kettle has spanned four decades with the force of its decidedly pop language.&#34;

The 3909 kettle mixes different cultural aspects: the phenomenon of basketball and its multicultural imagery, an integral part of Abloh&#39;s personal history, with the world of design and its codified references. The whistle is completely redesigned, taking the form of a basketball player who crushes with power to the basket, while the colours of the handle and the knob are lit with an intense purple.

Frantic Farms is a clay and glass gallery in Warkworth, Ontario. The estates owner was a potter in the Durham Potters&#39; Guild alongside the co-owner of Frantic Farms - Monica Johnston and purchased this piece made by the glassblower at the studio, Paulus Tijang.

From their Website about Paulus Tijang:
&#34;I have blown glass for over thirty years. My education and indoctrination into the work of my life began at The Ontario College of Art, when there was still a glass studio there. It had fewer letters in the acronym of its name, circa 1984. After graduating, I traveled to places where glass was important. One such place was Pilchuck Glass School, founded by Dale Chihuly, where I met and worked with renowned glass artists. Most influential were Lino Tagliapetra, and Benjamin Moore. It was there that I discovered Venetian style glass work.&#34;

Beautiful vintage vessel by artist Carol-Ann Michaelson who has a long career spanning several forms of visual arts.

Carol-Ann Michaelson was raised in northern Quebec and spent her childhood exploring the wild and remote environment it had to offer. Nature plays an integral role in her artwork. Art school in Montreal was followed by over 25 years as a professional ceramicist. She has taught and presented in Asia, Europe, the USA and across Canada. Michaelson has been honoured with awards and grants, recognized in publications and books and has been interviewed on tv and in radio. Her work is in collections and museums in Canada and around the world. Since 2014, she has put her energies into painting atmospheric abstracted landscapes created with oil and cold wax.   

She was a ceramic artist for over 40 years and although now no longer working in clay that era of her career plays a part of her aesthetics to this day.
