Lot #58: Two Vintage & Original Psychedelic Bill Graham Series, Fillmore Era, Rock Concert Posters, BG-261, Butterfiled Blues Band; BG-286, Moby Grape 1970/71

Here is a lot of two vintage and original psychedelic rock concert posters from the Fillmore Era. Here is what you get: BG-261-OP-1--[Untitled]. Number 261 in the Bill Graham series (poster is approximately 13.75" x 21") from a concert performed by the Paul Butterfield Blues Band, Incredible String Band, Ravi Shankar, and Buddy Miles at the Fillmore West in San Francisco on 12/14-20/1970. The poster was created by rock poster artist Norman Orr (b. 1924). This poster was printed by the famous Tea Lautrec Litho in San Franciso. This is an original FIRST PRINT poster (according to the guidelines of Eric King's famous reference book) and is in near mint condition. BG-286-OP-1--[Untitled]. Number 286 in the Bill Graham series (poster is approximately 14" x 21") from a concert performed by Moby Grape, Spencer Davis & Peter Jameson, and Flash Cadillac & the Continental Kids held at The Fillmore West in San Francisco on 6/24-27/1971. The poster was created by famed rock poster artist, David Singer (b. 1941). This poster was printed by the infamous Bindweed Press in San Franciso (a fascinating story if you have time to look it up). This is an original FIRST PRINT poster (according to the guidelines of Eric King's famous reference book) and is in NEAR MINT condition. These posters have been stored flat for decades and are both in near mint condition. They would frame up beautifully. They are getting hard to find in this condition. Located upstairs.
