The artwork is a zincograph, a type of lithograph printed on zinc plates, often featuring earthy tones and contemplative subjects. These prints were widely produced in the mid-20th century, with some reproductions on canvas. This piece is printed on canvas. There is clear water damage to the canvas with some streaks on the front of the print when you look close, see photos. The frame is in fair condition, with noticeable marks in the wood. This pieces was bought from the framing department at Eaton Co. in Montreal. A true collectors item!
