Lot #62: Antique Sewing Csbinet - Painted & Stenciled

This is an antique sewing cabinet, at least 75 years old. It is painted with cream chalk paint and the top is hand-stenciled in gray. The cabinet is compact enough to fit easily into your room, but it unfolds to hold a surprising amount of sewing notions. Each side unfolds to have a top level with dividers - 5 on one side and 3 on the other. Below each of those is a shallow area, and below those is the deep base of the cabinet. It’s easy to organize your notions in this cabinet - organization that sewers have prized with cabinets like this one for many years! When closed, it measures only 20” wide, 10” deep and 23” tall, including the handle. When fully open, it measures 66” long! Pickup category timeslot {A}
